Hello there!

I've got a webhostingpackage from Lycos and this includes a Simple Machines Forum on my website, version 1.0 RC1.

I'm really happy with this forum, but I've got a few questions. Can you please help me with the following;

- Previously, I've had a YABB SE forum. I would like to install the MySQL database from this YABB SE forum on my new SMForum. How can I do this?

- I would like to edit the statistics on the Info Centre of my forum, how can I change the '10 most recents posts' into '0 most recents posts'?

- I would like to add an image on top of the forum, next to the title, how can I do this?

I also want to upgrade my forum to the lastest SMF version, I've downloaded the files from simplemachines.org, but I can't install them because my forum was automatically installed on the server of Lycos, which hosts my forum.

Is there a way to make an update from within the forum?

you wont be able to use the Lycos install but its possible using the upgrader on the downloads page. You will also loose any SMF messages that have been made, and need a fresh install from here.
