Question on smileys

our forum now uses SMF 2.0 RC1  but have noticed this with other upgrades we have used and notice it happens here as well.
when a poster is typing and then clicks a smiley 8)then  continues typin that smiley doesnt show unless one hits the spacebar after clicking on the smiley.

is there a way to fix the code so that this doesnt occur...that a space is automatically added in the code.
if so what file is needed and what code needs to be added or changed.

A space is added by default, so your issue is probably due to improper code insertion.
What changes did you make prior to this issue?
