downgrade help please 2.0 to 1.1.8

hello ppl

i updaed m forum from 1.1.8 to 2.0 now i can't login in my forum as admin i'm getting Unable to load the 'main_above' template. please tell me how can i downgrade this to 1.1.8  or how to solve this problem because i made 1 more thread 2 days ago nd no buddy has solution for this  please help me

You cannot downgrade unfortunately. I suppose you did not make a backup before you upgraded. Not sure how you will now get around this but I am sure someone will have a solution for you here

hi i noticed 1 thing when i login as a admin then i saw core files dumps in ftp  is some mod of 1.1.8 responsible fr this

Downgrade is in theory possible,but really hard to achieve

Btw. there is no mod for that,long story short if you don't have a backup from 1.1.8,it's really hard to go back to 1.1.8 from 2.0

Well you were logged in as admin when I looked. Have you tried running the Repair Settings at all. You can download it from here http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?tools

i have tried it already bt no luck nd i can login b when i login i can see only this message Unable to load the 'main_above' template. nd when i delete cookie i can view my forum as a guest or another member

brother i'm so depressed  i made 1 more thread 2 days agoin 1.1.8 seection nd no proper answer was answerd nd my id was banned    i hope omeone will soon help me

You had only one admin, and that one admin is now unavailable? Everything is working all right, but no administration functions available anymore?

What happens with test-user if you grant admin-rights to it. For example with MySQL-Front program. You can get for example from me:

  If you view members, you can see change value at id_group from 0 to 1 with test user and login with that

When you have another admin you can view its profile and check if it uses different theme (and if that one didn't convert) and change it. If that's the case then that's it.
