I have went to downloads page and found this note.

Note: As this is not a final release, we do not recommend running SMF 2.0 RC1 on a production site.

Then Downloaded this update.

Small update
Using SMF 2.0 Beta 4.x? This small package will get you up to speed.

But when i try to upload to my server using package manager on current version 2.0.4 beta. It says it could not upload .

Exact Error : The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.

You cannot upgrade via the package manager, which is what you appear to be doing.  You have to extract the update package and use FTP to overwrite all of your files.

The proper version is 2.0 RC1, not 2.0.1.  :)

Thanks for your reply.

So all the modded files will be gone, is that so.

Is there a separate version is available for us to work. Because i have several mods installed.

Ok other Doubt, if 2.0 RC1 come for final release. Will there be a download where i could upload using package manager without disturbing mods.

There are far too many changes between Beta 4 and RC1 to install via a mod package.  As for an update between the RC releases, again, there will be too many changes.  The only place I can see a package being available is from the Last RC to final, as it should contain very few changes.

Thanks for your kind help.

I have successfully uninstall all mods and Upgraded my Forum.

And reinstalled all the mods.

SMF is great. I have did all the works in 6 hours - 9 hours for me to completely make it work without any issue.

Thanks to the Excellent release for Simple Machines Team.
