Forum is Slow?

Hello,

Some of my members are Singular Thought have told me that the site seems to be slow. However for me it seems pretty fast. Is it just me or is it actually slow? If so how can I make it faster?

Works fast for me. A few things to ask you members are...

Their connection speed - Always determines howfast the site/forums load for somebody.
What browser they are using.

The forums on the bottom will show howlong it has taken to create the page which means it will display howlong it took them to load a page and get more input from them, as you wanna keep them happy.

Keep in mind those load times have nothing to do with you users, rather they show how long the server took to create the page.

When I clicked the link, I got a 2.637 page creation time.
So I'd be confident to say the slowness is coming from your host.

I have a 1mb/s connection, and it had a 7.381 page creation time... Probably depends on how much stress your server is under.

Yeah seems like the server randomly decides to be slow... I'm on a 1.5 mbps line and it's sometimes really slow.

I'm planning to switch to A Small Orange for host. Has anyone heard anything good about them?
