Redirect to a web address issue

hi

when creating a new board (2.0 RC1) theres the option to redirect to a web address.... but when i put an address in, its doesnt work it leaves the original www and just adds whatever i put in at the end...

example

my forum is www.berrylife.co.uk

if i wanted to redirect to www.ebay.co.uk

it comes up as http://www.berrylife.co.uk/index.php?www.ebay.co.uk

what can i do to fix it?
