Notification Failure

A person visiting my SMF setup has mentioned that the notification system is a little haywire - sometimes she gets the notification for certain topics, other times she doesn't, and has to reset them. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to which these notification failures occur.

Is there a limit to the number of topics a person can receive notifications for? I can't seem to find any settings with regards to this.

Sometimes, but does it have any effect on topics she starts on her own?

It shouldn't matter, although there was a possible problem with quick reply recently found which will be resolved in the next release.
