Modify length of percentage-bar for polls?

2.0 RC1

The whole poll-area covers the entire page from left to right, but the percentage-bars of the results are only around 100px, which looks rather off. I'm using OrangeLine by Crip but this theme uses the Default theme's files almost entirely so consider me using the default one.

Anyone who knows how to change this? Would appreciate some help!

Does it look ok on the default theme? If so, you might want to try posting in that OrangeLine theme's support topic instead to see if any users there know what changes to make.

I checked, and it looks exactly the same in the default theme. So does this mean that the default width of the result-bars is very short? I'd love to be able to choose their width.

$barWide = $bar == 0 ? 1 : floor(($bar * 8) / 3);

Increase 8 to suit your needs. Changing it as 16 will make it two times wider.
