Help with adding top banner graphic

Hello,
Iknow some of you might get abit anoyed but i can't figure out how to add my banner to the top of the Daze Grey theme.  Have some pitty on me i am just a 3d artist and all that code is jibberish to me.  i found one post but it is not clear tome how to attach an image.

I suggest you learn just a bit of HTML first - trust me, it'll go a long way .

The banners are held in the index.template.php file for each theme
