My site is going super slow again

My site (www.lfcstreams.com) was running fine till about 1/2 hour ago and the number of users online has increase to nearly 300, at the point my forum has start to drastically slow down.

I have removed the User Online Today mod and also the User Online bloc of the TinyPortal but the forum is still going slow. It takes from 6 to 30 seconds to load one page.

What's going on? How come it's only when a decent amount of people are on?

the database also appears to be getting around 60 queries now, but when the site was stable around 1/2 ago it was only getting around 10. don't know if that helps.

I'm not sure TinyPortal is yet been streamlined for high load conditions.
