There is no set date for the release of 2.0RC2.

May i ask what timeframe you expect for release RC2?

Let me describe why i'm asking. Now I using SMF 1.1.8 on old(3+yrs) dedicated server. I plan to buy new one server, more powerfull and migrate there. It wil be good to migrate to new server with new smf :-)  Certainly I want to to have maximum stable version.  Upgrading tests will be done on RC1. Will be good... excellent, if final moving 1.1.8->2.0 will comply with date of issue RC2. (2.0 release is better, but i guess it may appear too late for me, i can't wait so long).

There is NO set expected time release for RC2.
We don't work to a set timeline, but "When its ready".
