Moving the News BOX

I would like to move the News Box for the default them and place it under the search.. How ever I don't wish for it to remain a little box, but more like the box you see in the classic view. (long) just with the same look and feel as it is now in the default theme.

so you .php pros.. how would someone with no knowledge of .php do something like this?

Ok... I'll fiddle with the template stuff and see what I can do with this. However, I need to know whether you want the "Key Stats" box to stay where it is or if you want it to go where the "news" box currently is.

What I would ideally like to do is to keep the "forum search" where it is and put in a "web search" next to (not below) that. I'd probably get rid of the KEY STATS box.

Actually, what I'd like to do is to put the NEWS BOX underneath the collapsable part. That is, put it where the news fader is now and make it the same size as well. I would either like to do that or modify the news fader to look like the NEWS BOX and keep the fading ability.

Modifying the news fader is a bit easier than moving that entire news box. Unfortunately, I don't really have time to look at it right now.
