well whenever anyone in your forum posts live link i.e a link without [ code ] tags it automatically codes these links and make them inactive :)

@fals i dont know hows it coding links starting with www on your forum :-? maybe you had make some changes to Subs.php :)

fals

whenever anyone post, ie: www.simplemachines.org, the link is automatic "active" = clickable.

I havent made any changes, but maybe some other mod as done this earlier.

Enabel it in post and topic. But nothing change. ? how can i fix.

DareDevil1990

@heinandar i dont think there should be any problems as i have tried it on several of my friends smf site and it worked.

can u pm or post a link to your forum and if possible  attach Subs.php also :)

heinandar

DareDevil1990

i tried your Subs.php on my forum and its working are u sure u are trying the links starting with http:// and not www? because i can only think of this as a possible problem

heinandar

is there supposed to be a setting somewhere that you have to turn on before it will actually work - because the mod does not work and you have not posted any type of instructions?

thanks

EDIT: it works in PM's but no place else.

DareDevil1990

@Kimmie there is not setting to enable the mod.please attach your subs.php. and if possible please pm me your site url:)

@heinandar i am still trying to figure why is the mod not working for you :(

Kimmie

Kimmie

update: the mod seems to work when you "preview" the post but as soon as you post it, the link reverts back to not being coded.

Harvester

ummm... as far as I have always found.. SMF does this normally without any mod... or is this mod doing something special that I dont understand?

when u normally post a link to site for exapmle say http://www.simplemachines.org u need to press to make the link inactive so the users copy and paste the link

but my mod makes this process automated your just post a link starting with "http" and after u hit the post button it will automatically  code the link :)

punktravis182

mine too, it's only working on PM's :(

Might that be because its not compatible with 2.0?  ;)

(Helpful tip: always check this on the mod page before you install a mod :)   )
