Problems adding moderator

I would like to add a moderator to my board and set special permissions for them.
I am fairly familiar with this program.
I know how to set permissions but for some reason I can not figure out how to add a moderator.
Every where it says moderator is N/A (not applicable)
Any clues?

Moderators have to be set from the Manage Boards area...

Admin -> Manage Boards
Click "Modify" next to a board and you'll see the moderators box.

Moderators are a special group - a person is only a moderator on boards where you assign them as a moderator. Everywhere else they're a regular member. If you want someone to have moderator power everywhere without having to make them moderator of each board, make them a Global Moderator.
