Problem with FIREFOX

Hi,

I has done three independent installations of SMF now and using SMF standard theme, and it doesnt show up correctly in the webbrowser Firefox version 1.0.1, I am losing background colors on some TR/TD, of course I suspect that it can be a fault in the standard CSS. It works perfectly in IE.

Now I wonders, is it any other who has encountered the same kind of visual problem ?

And if there is a problem in the standard theme, would it not be something to update quickly since there is many Firefox visitors on websites today, here on our server we have around 9% (Which includes later Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox).

Sincerely

Do you have a URL to a page with problems, virtually everyone on the team uses Firefox so if there was a problem, it would likely have been noticed by now.

Yes, heh, I use Firefox more than Internet Explorer.

I'm guessing your server isn't serving style.css as text/css.

Hmmm, are you trying to make me look foolish ?  It was an success, hehe

I had PHP activated for CSS files, but now it works fine after your recommendation about MIME setting in the webserver.

Thanks a lot :)

:) You guys are amazing. Thanks for the fast answer! (Roxpace is hosting our virtual reality site, VResources). We just ported over from phpbb and I do not think we will miss it any time soon. Thanks for such a great forum system.

Best regards

I have a similar problem which is very specific in the error it causes.
The only thing different in my forum between IE and firefox is that one image does not display when used as a background image with the class     .catbg.
My forum is a port from Yabbse and the same css worked previously. ???

Hi thanks for the reply but I found the problem.

.catbg
{
   font-weight: bold;
   font-size: 12px;
   background-image: url(http://www.rakuli.com/musings/yabbimages/g.gif);
   background-repeat: no-repeat;
   height:22px;
   color: #ffffff;
   vertical-align: middle;
}

I can't seem to put it in but way out to the right, after declaring the class .catbg there was comma ","
After asking the question it motivated me one more time to try find what I thought wasn't there. I don't know how it got there keyboard slip maybe?
Ohh well. Firefox was right again

This is way off topic, but have you tried asking at www.mozillazine.org?
