I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this question, but it's sort of a general functionality question and i wasn't sure where to put it.

If i set up a mirror site with a duplicate ok my exisiting SMF folder that points to the same My Sql Database that the original uses, will both function as one? Please keep in mind i am a novice and don't know enough to know if this is a stupid question.

I need for 2 groups to be able to view and post on the same forums (everyone sees the same messages) but they need to access via different domains.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

not 100% sure but i think it could just be done by both forums connecting to the same database.
