Moderators not showing ?

Hi Guys

I am desperatly in need of adding some more mods to my forum. I have just moved the 2 global mods upto be admins and wnat to introduce 7 more mods.

The problems is in the admin centre when I go to user profile >account related settings. In primary member groups, only admin and Global mods appear as an option. Underneath the drop down box is a message saying "why isn't moderator here?" click that and a box opens telling me to go the Board Management interface 

Moderator does not appear in Allowed Groups either.

If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it please. It might be easier for the time being to make them all global mods and leave it at that.

That is 'local moderator'. Manage Boards -> modify -> Moderators

Yep it is that :

Manage Boards > modify.

Moderators does not appear in the list and I have no idea why 

The list I can see is :

Guests 
Ungrouped Members 
Global Moderator 
Newbie 
Jr. Member 
Intermediate Member 
Full Member 
Sr. Member 
Hero Member 
Super Hero Member 
Check all

I have made all the new mods as "Global Moderators" but in threads some appear as "Moderators"

Local moderators arent membergroup.

Managed to sort that out thanks

I notice for some reason the 3 admins always show as moderators in the left hand column under there user name. How can I change it to read admin - bit confusing this one

If you've added them as moderators to the board, that's to be expected.

If I stuck a big "sherrif" badge on you, and people started calling you a sherrif, would you be surprised?  Solution: remove the sherrif badge.

The 2 new admins just fancied being able to see "admin" under their user names.
