Page for links, widgets?

How can I make a page just for links and widgets?   I know that there are slots under 'current theme' where you can insert the HTML link for a widget to be displayed in the upper/lower part of the forum. But there are only two or three of those slots and I would like to have a page where I could put just links and widgets. Then create a link named "Links" in the front page of the forum that will take the members to this page. I hope I am explaining myself clearly.   :)

try Bakers Dozen Pages...

or Custom Pages (2.0 only)...

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1347

or The Rules mod...

If you go to my site (banner in sig), and take a look at my "Extras" tab, it's made with the custom pages mod. However, custom pages does not create a menu button, so I had to create the "Extras" button manually.

Any of those would solve my problem. Unfortunately, I have 1.1.8 and none of the mods you suggested is compatible with my version of SMF.  :(

Any other suggestion/alternative? Anyone? Please?

Nina, two of the suggested mods are for and will install on 1.1.8.

Really? Then I will try them. It looks as any of these could be what I am looking for. Thank you!  Will post back how did it go! :)
Which one would be the easiest for a newbie on forum building?  (that would be ME)
