New users cannot register

hi all,

i got some strange issue after switching to 2.0 rc1... and im not able to get rid of it... new users can easily login like always, but new users cannot register...

constantly its showing this alert:

An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to access this section



my registration settings are:
Method of registration employed for new members: Member Activation

im using 2.0 rc1, any ideas?

btw. did you install any new mods after you've upgraded your site to RC1 ?

yeah, ive installed simpleportal, but it isnt active right now...

There should be sth. in your error logs related to this issue

But it seems to be a permission problem for me

i checked chmod for those register related files, i reuploaded new register.php to the /Sources directory on the server, i check all registration settings in my acp... and omg nothing helped...

Have you tried to renew this file Sources/Subs-Editor.php ?

If that doesn't help,i'd need to have a look at your AdminCP and for that i need a test admin account from you

yep, renewing sources/subs-editor.php didnt help... im sending u admin account info via pm...

I think,registration is working without any problems now

and i assume the problem was

Admin -> Security and Moderation -> Anti-Spam ->  Number of verification questions user must answer

You've entered there 2,but number of questions was just 1,i've just disabled that option and it works now
