IPB to SMF - A Question

Hi There,

I am currently using IPB, and want to switch over to SMF at the end of the month.

I am just doing some experimenting and i have a question.

I currently have IPB installed at /forums             and SMF installed at /smfforums

if i run the IPB to SMF converter, will it copy all the posts and members from /forums to /smfforums

or

will the IPB forums at /forums be overwrote with SMF

Basically i want to leave the IPB forums intact ?

i am currently pondering wether or not to run the converter for fear that my IPB forums will be overwritten with SMF........

can anyone advise me on this?

you IPB will not be modified. It will stay the same and no data will be deleted.
