Amazing.

When I setup my paid subscriptions this is what happens.

Everything goes well.. I get the money..
But

The users default group does not change even though I have it set to change.
And I receive a couple of these emails.

****,

The following error occurred when processing a paid subscription
---------------------------------------------------------------
Unknown Paid Subscriptions transaction type.

Regards,
The Forums Team.

Edit: No ideas?

I have tried setting it up for flexible and set prices.
Even the user that subscribes get that email.

ViVoxity

ehh.
:'(

I really need this fixed..
Its killing me.. I have to keep my site down because 30 of the forums are under subscription only.

Please donot bump within 24 hours of time. I am sure there will be someone who can help you out with this.

Have you done any edits before getting the inbuilt paid subscription into use? If not then try using a fresh copy of the paid subscription files..

See the paid subscription file within the Sources folder and the *.template.php file of paid subscription in Default theme folder. Try replacing those files and see the outcome. Might be a problem there...

ViVoxity

I really don't want to mess anything up..
I downloaded it off the package manager.. tried uninstalling and re-installing..
Nothing.

uhmm.. let me see what I can do.
I'll get back to you.

(I backup my database, but have no idea how to get it back into play)

1 question, Why did you install a separate paid subscriptions in SMF 2.x ? It already has the inbuilt one!

ViVoxity

I am using the built in one.
I'm just using the power button..
Sorry.. Forgot about that when I posted..
Edit: No luck.

So you tried replacing the files? Or just turned it on and off..?

Did you set the paypal email to the same address as to where the donations are going?
I have 2 emails on my account and when someone donates to the other one, i get a similar error.

Also, make sure you go here: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-ipn-notify [nofollow] and set up your forum url

On and off..
I'm a bit scared to go in and personally edit the files..

Alex answer is.. yes.. I use one email.

Adish - (F.L.A.M.E.R)

Keep a backup of the current file if you have edited anything by any chance, and put a fresh copy in. If it doesnt work out well, then put the old file in as it was and its back to the condition before. No loss.. ;)

I'll give it a shot.
thanks.

Is there a way I can test if it works?

Edit: How exactly do I know what files are the subscription files..
I have a lot of mods I don't want erroring out my whole database. oO

Edit 2: Just the subscription.php?

Edit 3: New problem.
All messages for my members including me are centered..
Not sure why.. I didn't change anything.
What can I do to fix that?

Link to your site will help..

Do you use global headers and footer by any chance?

The files i asked you to replace:-
Subscriptions-PayPal.php in Source folder

Do that and see if it works out.

ViVoxity

This is somewhat fixed.
Still error emails.
But I get the money and I can accept the subscriptions.
Thanks.

You probably still want to get the error fixed. As no one from the support team havnt taken a look or have no solution at the moment, they will try find something for you.

If you mark it solved, you wouldnt probably get the solution.

Hai - I also haz this problem.  Same exact error.  My paypal configs are right.   They point to the subscriptions.php file (IPN settings, etc.).
