Modifying the SMF RSS Feed

I recently edited the news.php source file to include a link that allows readers to comment in the forum.

It has one small glitch however. The user gets a session time out error when they first try to post. Does anyone know how i get around this?

Never mind.

i figured it out 

all i needed to do was have the link calling for a reply post to have  www.  included.  I guess that guaranteed that the session would be verified from the start.
