I have had three problems SSI.php.  I searched but I found nothing.  My problems:

Logout - I get " Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."
Logout - Redirect (ssi_logout('http://mysite.com'); ) doesn't work.
Login - Redirect doesn't work.

Thanks,
Gerard

wird i've used ssi.php functions in firefox 1.0.1 just fine.  :-\

You don't have SSI.php being included at the very top above everything else.

I use Firefox every day, and rarely use Internet Explorer.  I know for sure this feature and functionality works.

Actually, I do have it on top of everything else.

1. <?php
2. require("forums/SSI.php");

I have some of my own code after that, though.  Will that affect this?  Do I use include, or include_once, require_once instead or something?

goto www.yoursite.com/forums/ssi_examples.php that will show you the exact line needed as line #1. ;)

Well, you're describing what happens when you don't get a valid session id, which is the case when SSI.php is not the first thing.  Otherwise, it should work fine.

Well, I don't understand what this is.  It's on the first line, same exact thing as in ssi_examples.  I think it's something else because even in ssi_examples.php on my site, the logout button doesn't work.  I was thinking it might be the ;id thing, but it works in the forum's logout button.

hmm in ssi_examples.php it shows a logout link, that works. :-\

It doesn't work for me :-\.  Does the home page link work for you, or are there settings in firefox that may be my problem?

Thanks,
Gerard

Okay, it's not in FireFox because I have just tried it in IE and it doesn't work there anymore either.  Anybody willing to let me send them my php source code so they can look at it?  I'm going crazy.

Thanks,
Gerard

I did a little testing, and I think the problem is due to the way you've got things set up...

Your site url: http://www.retardedworld.com
Your board url: http://retardedworld.com/forums

If I try to logout through www.retardedworld.com, it doesn't work
However, if I change the URL to http://retardedworld.com and try to logout, it does work.

So, I recommend using repair_settings.php (What is repair_settings.php?) to change your board's URL to http://www.retardedworld.com/forums. After that it should work just fine.
