Mail Delivery Failed - Receive bounced emails from non actives

I'm receiving alot of bounced emails (i.e an email stating "A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed..")

I have Member Activation required, so if a member enters a non functioning email address, I get the bounced emails...

- Is there an automatic way of removing users who enter a non-functioning email address?

- A way of stopping to receive the bounced emails?

Currently, there's no automated way of doing this.  It may be theoretically possible in the future, however.

The main problem is simple; most MTAs (mail servers) don't provide any way to verify email addresses - for reasons of spam.

I think you can use the option that sends them an email with an password to become member. when they use a fake mail adress they ill never show up in the  memberlist.  `corect me if i'm wrong

Sounds good, but how do I do that?  It's not about the memberlist...it's about receiving bounced emails informing me about the fake email accounts...
