Restricting attachment downloads

hi guyz,

i have a forum for various applications...........i see that people just become members and download the various attachments posted.....

is there any way that i can force people to make at least 10 or 20 posts before they can actually be allowed to download stuff??

Yes, by editing membergroups permissions.
Admin -> Edit Permissions ->
Newbie -> Modify
and Disallow(X) View attachments.
