Guest Index Page vs Member Index Page

I want the index page for guests to look different - like have a certain width and have ads to the sides etc.

But when someone is signed in I would like it to look a different way.

Is there a different template used for guest than when you are signed in?

Figured smf might be able to do the same.

Whoops, a further look and its to a board on the forum.  Is there a way to do that?

Yeah, but would the board look different for members than guests?
