still a no go.  I went as far as installing on a test 1and1 host with new mambo and smf installation.  still the same problem.

INSTALLATION CHECKLIST:
installed    Install SMF Forum on the same database as Mambo.
installed    Install mod_smf_login module and publish it.
not installed    Install SMFMamboMod.zip using your SMF Package Manager.
done    Insert code to mambo template.

Here's the error when clicking on the mambo-smf integration - configuration (second time around):
error 500: Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

According to INSTALLATION CHECKLIST, you haven't installed 'SMFMamboMod' you need to install that through SMF Package Manager.

I noticed the same via the checklist, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Here's the direct cut and paste from the package manager:

Package Manager - Browse Packages
Modification Packages
      Mod Name    Version
1.    SMF-Mambo Integration    1.2.0    [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]

I also noticed that the footer displays: Powered by SMF 1.0.0 for Mambo.

Originally it was displyaing 1.0.3.  Am I the only person experiencing this?  I thought it was a localhost problem at first, then thought it may be the corrupt files, but this time I downloaded both mambo, smf, and smf integration.  All new installs.

Did you configure mambo to point to your forums?

Did you configure mambo to point to your forums?

On the right side of the page (http://s89902208.onlinehome.us/mambo) there's a link to the forum.  Link access, no problem.  Notice the version of SMF after you click through the link?

The problem occurs in mambo's administration of the integration component.  All other component works fine except that one.

The 1.2 version that was released installed without a problem.  Good to see extra checking built into the backend.  Attempted about 15 fresh intalls with the beta version without any success, so glad it's working now.  Good job cowboy!

Is there a check for old mambo members that has not been imported to the smf user database?  If not, how can I import?

Hello profile,

Have you done any modifications to your SMF template to stay aligned within Mambo margin/boarder, if so what cause mine SMF forum falls outside the Mambo margin check here test site

profile...

there is no check for mambo member into smf... only for smf into mambo.

to traslate mambo users into the smf userlist, you need to run to mos2smf utility from Orstio's section of mamboforge.

No, see pic, in IE SMF goes outside the boarder but not in FireFox yours doesn't happen and was wondering if you changed and code in SMF.

I hope they fix it in IE7.0

They will never fix it. With their history, I believe they will make it worst.
Firefox just became a challenge for them. They will just get the useful features like the tab browsing and drop the unpopular ones. And I bet they will add more of their own CSS features.

There's basically nothing we can do because IE still dominates the browser world.

So I suggest, make it look good first in IE... by default it should look good in firefox too.
