making someone mod

hey needing help well duh HELP forum anyways. how do i make someone a moderator ive tried looking about permissions thing and all that but everytime i do it theres nothing to change them to mods help me please

Go to the edit board screen, and you have an option to pick moderators there.

Since moderation is done on a board-by-board basis, you have to make members moderators from the board management interface.
