Trying to compact the post view, I turned off View Profile Icons. This removes the links to profile, web page and what not, but for some reason leaves AIM, MSN etc. Is there any way to remove these short of editing the PHP?

I'm afraid that you cannot remove these for all members without editing the Display template.
