Hi Guys,
One of my three forums went down last night and I can't figure out what's going on. I have made no changes in over a week, my host fixed one problem last night but they "swear" that what they did could not have caused this. I run three forums on the same server using the same database. One of them is not working at all. http://www.goosemoose.com/rfc , I simply get a page cannot be displayed, I don't even get a php error. The files are all there. I put a phpinfo there at http://www.goosemoose.com/rfc/phpinfo.php and it works. Any ideas?

I downloaded the repair_settings.php and everything is correct. But if I disable compression I get errors instead of page cannot be displayed. Here is what I get :

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4620 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/goosemoose.com/httpdocs/rfc/Sources/Errors.php on line 234

Sigh.  PHP is out of memory - probably due to usage.  Increase the memory_limit in php.ini, I suggest 16M or 32M.

It's already set to 64M so that can't be the problem. Check out the page, it won't even load.

Have you tried restarting Apache and MySQL?  Or do you have the access to?

I restarted the entire server. The funny thing is that the other two forums on the server work. But they are much smaller, which is why I had thought it was memory related.

I just tried uploading all new smf update files and it made no difference.

In any case, it's *trying* to show an error message if it's going to that line.  Anything showing in the log_errors table?

Here is one page of the error log table. Note that there are now 2.59 million records now in the error log table. I had cleared it a few days ago too, so this is all over the past 8 hours with nothing working here.  :(

And here is what happens when I try to check out the activity table:

Can't open file: 'rfc_log_activity.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Error
SQL-query:

SHOW KEYS FROM `rfc_log_activity` ;

MySQL said:

#1016 - Can't open file: 'rfc_log_activity.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Well, there we have it.

REPAIR TABLE rfc_log_activity;

Awsome! That was it. Thanks Unknown. I should have looked at the error log but I figured since nothing was loading it wasn't getting that far. My host restored from a backup after doing an upgrade a few days ago and they must have corrupted the table at the time.
