There is no width given in css, and the buttons are hard coded to the "english" directory:
#bbhelp
{
  background-image: url(images/english/back/help.gif);
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-position:0 -24px;
  border-width:0;
  position: relative;
  float: left;

index.template.php, however, does gives a width for the button:

<div id="bbhelp"  '.$mycode.'><a href="', $scripturl, '?action=help"><img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/blank.gif" alt="' . $txt[119] . '" style="margin: 0px; width: 36px; height: 24px;" border="0" /></a></div>';

As far as I can tell, this width has to change depending on the width of the rollover graphic. For instance, German "SPIELHALLE" is going to be wider than English "ARCADE", and the right end of the German button will be cut off unless I change this measurement. Since only one measurement can be given in index.template.php, I don't see how I can use other languages. Am I missing something here? I'm just learning this stuff, so it might be something painfully obvious.

And since I've got you on the line — I left a question a week ago at TP — we also want to get the RC2 tab/icon+text buttons into Oxygen for the rest of the buttons — for a similar reason: all the languages we've installed. I've already got the slices ready to go, but don't want the theme to explode if I put in the wrong code (even if we do have a test site...)

ah, yes. i am sorry..of course its the index.template widths are located in. ::) Just change them according to the graphic.

The other question: you mean to have the buttons in language folders?

By analogy, they would be in a folder "back" in the individual language's image folder, since that's where they are in "english". The problem is being able to have only one width given in index.template.php because the graphics are different widths for the various languages.

bloc

Yes..thats why it was made with just english - so people could exchange the head graphics there from other languages. But multiple languages will "break" this.

So what you are saying is that it's impossible to use multiple languages with this theme and no way to code for such a situation? I suppose we could trash the whole rollover idea and just use gif's with the nice display font, but the rollover is rather distinctive.

What about the tabs/text w/icon buttons as in RC2 default for the rest of the buttons so that multiple languages can be used?

bloc

no, not impossible..but you need to re-write parts of the code.

Well, that's beyond my skill, which is rather why I posted here.

bloc

I am afraid I won't be re-writing it that much at this time.

Nice theme :)

I noticed however the `Most Online Today: bla bla bla` feature is missing in the information center. Is this something easily added?

Thank you.

Look in admin - "current theme settings" for a textbox where you can write HTML.

And yes, it can be a menu , or just a image etc. It will magically appear if you have SOMETHING written in that textbox. If not, it won't show up.

At the same time you could choose how the content aligns - left, center or right. That can be done - of course - in your own html code, but if not, the option is there.

When I do this I get the message "Unable to load the 'edit_list' template."

Love the theme, by the way, and the button generator.

I figured out the problem. I needed to upgrade to the more recent version of the theme.

hey everyone...
at first button generator doesn't support any of Turkish characters.. like [ŞşĞğÜüİıÖöÇç] (or maybe font doesnt)

also
can i ask for PSD's of Top Menu ? i want to translate them into Turkish.  or Font may be enough.. but PSD's are better...

Thnx.
