Boards won't order correctly

I can not change the order of the boards on my forum, they remain in the order of date created.
though on the admin panel it lists them in the order i have moved them.

Did you tried to try and edit one of the boards I already experienced that but when I edited one of the boards they were ordered again just like before.

Yes I tried editing them. The boards stay in the order of creation.

Do you have any modifications installed by any chance..? Also, are you using MySQL, SQLite, or PostgreSQL?

I installed some themes, chainging the theme doesnt fix the problem, and the BK-SMF Website modification.
I believe I am using SQLite
I noticed it said SQLite would be more buggy.

i re-searched the problem with SQLite on it and found this fix.
