Yes Sir, sorry about that, I was working on installations of mods and this one fell to the back burner.  However, eliminating the clearfix code in the "post area" did the trick, it is now fixed so you can mark this topic as solved...

Something odd.  Some of my users are having this problem of the bouncing cursor, when using IE8....and sure enough the meta tag  <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" /> does work great.  But my question is...Wasn't this one of the bug fixes in RC2? 

I kinda thought it was resolved, so I didn't bother doing the modification to the head....then my users complained again.
