Mode not working witn 1.1.9

I currently have version 2.0.5 installed (some time ago hence no auto uninstall link) and am now on SMF 1.1.9. I wish to update to latest 3.0.6.

How should I go about doing it? Should I manually uninstall and then apply the latest version mod using the forum? Or should I just apply the mod using the forum?

Yes this is the only way to update from V2 to V3. Because there a lot changed done between them and i could not make an upgrade for it.

The parser says to only do the following for uninstall. That is not all right? I did the following and I can still see the colors and the member color link menu

In file $languagedir/Modifications.english.php
Find:

$txt['MemberColorLinkHeadline'] = 'Member Color Link';
$txt['MemberColorLink'] = 'The display of the threadindex';
$txt['MemberColorThreadOwner'] = 'The thread owner at the boardindex';
$txt['MemberColorThreadLastPost'] = 'The last post member at the messageindex';
$txt['MemberColorThreadChild'] = 'The last post member at the childboard';
$txt['MemberColorBoardindex'] = 'The last post member at the boardindex';
$txt['MemberColorBirthday'] = 'The Birthday Links of the Members (Calendar and Boardindex)';
$txt['MemberColorRecentOwner'] = 'Recent posts, threadowner';
$txt['MemberColorRecentLastPost'] = 'Recent posts, the last poster';
$txt['MemberColorInbox'] = 'Change colors in the Instant Messages Inbox';
$txt['MemberColorOutbox'] = 'Change colors in the Instant Messages Outbox';
$txt['MemberColorLatestMember'] = 'Color the Latest Member';
$txt['MemberColorStats'] = 'Change color in the Boardstats.';
$txt['MemberColorWhoIsOnline'] = 'Color the Who is Online (Messagesindex and Threadindex)';
$txt['MemberColorGuests'] = 'Color for Guest nicknames<br /><span class="smalltext">Boradindex, Messageindex and Theaddisplay</span>';
$txt['MemberColorBanned'] = 'Color for Banned nicknames';
?>

Replace with:

?>

I ask this because if I were to click on uninstall (I went to include 1.1.9 in the package-info file so to have the uninstall link appear), there is a long list of files involved shown:
Execute Modification  ./Sources/ModSettings.php  Test failed
Execute Modification ./Sources/Load.php Test failed
Execute Modification ./Sources/MessageIndex.php Test failed
Execute Modification ./Sources/BoardIndex.php Test failed
Execute Modification ./Sources/Calendar.php Test failed

Normal if Admin everything else should work?
Did you enable the mod? Did you setup colors for them?

It's logical because my mod will only take the master groups. If you add them additional to this groups my mod can/will not load this.

I remember I installed it, it worked... and have been using it for some time since. Do you have a file where I can use the parser to check the edits? My version is 2.0.5.
