As long as you emulate to RC5, this mod works perfectly on 2.0.

Use this download: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=32101.msg3025624#msg3025624

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

smf 2.0 final

Below the mod list is a link which says advanced.

Click the link then do what the previous poster has already mentioned.

as an afterthought which version are you using?

1.1.14 or 2.0?

Richardgm

When I emulate RC5 ,it still tells me it's not compatible.
I used the link quoted above, and I'm using 2.0 final.

Help?

I think you don't understand how the emulate feature should be operated. I was confused at first too.
What you do is emulate to SMF RC5, upload the package and then once uploaded emulate back to SMF 2.0

PortaMx is probably the best SMF portal!

On your advice, I

1. Emulated "SMF RC5"
2. Uploaded the package
3. Reverted emulation to "SMF 2.0"

But I don't get the option to Install. I just am given the option to "list files" & "delete"

Ozzie

you need to download the newest version which is  MemberColorLink308.zip the bottomoption in mod download page (you will need to install it in rc3 emulation though if my memory serves me right)

2000+ games available to download

I even tried it with this version, and still It's not allowing me to install. I'm only given the option to "List files" or "Delete"

i think you maty be confused as how to emulate...

1st   upload the mod and dont select the install option go back to the package manager the mod should be showing there..

2nd  go to bottom and click advanced now enter SMF 2.0 RC3 or whatever you are using then click apply ...the mod should now be showing install as well as list files and delete..

3rd go ahead and install as you would normally

(dont revert emulation back until you have finished the install)

2000+ games available to download

Thank you for clarifying. I was doing everything ok, except for the "SMF 2.0 RC5" ... I was just typing "SMF RC5".

Thanks again!

Thanks for updating this for 2.0! I had been looking at SimpleColorizer but now with this I need to decide. Without having to try each, is there someone who can outline the differences?

Jessica.

@sremick. SimpleColorizer edits no files

no problems from this until a few days ago.

see the attachment? all of my username in the forums except for the last one is colored
