url tag and [ sign

i recently noticed that when urls have [ or ] doesn't shown correctly
http://test.com/somthing/now[a].zip
http://test.com/somthing/nowa].zip
http://test.com/somthing/now[a.zip

Unfortunately smf can't autolink [ or ] because it would intefere with bbcode in posts.
