Thinking of converting to SMF, but some questions.

First post here. If this isn't in the correct forum, I'm sorry.

I'm currently running a Raven Nuke site bridged to phpbb3. Its fine now, but I cant upgrade phpbb3 becuase it will kill all my mods I did to it. I'm tired of doing these mods.

I installed SMF in a folder on my server named "forum". Phpbb3 is in "forums".

Can I run the converter script without it changing my phpbb3 forums?

yes, our converter doesn't change anything in phpBB3. It's like a snapshot taken from the current database.
