Not that I can think of.

I wonder if looking around your cpanel might throw-up something.

Maybe there's something in the error-log that would give us some clues, ay?

Ah, gotcha, no I deleted the brand new copy as soon as it had the same issue, didn't want to get confused with multiple forums!

Can you drop us a phpinfo sheet in the directory and post or PM a link. It should tell what user the server is running as. There may be a conflict there with allowing the permissions to be set correctly.

I have also (very painfully) deleted v2 and installed v1.1.10 which has resolved all the issues......
