@fmofmpls> it used to be supported... I just tried. Apparently, the embed code & lookup code were both changed heavily. I'll have to rewrite this. Since I like archive.org (they host videos from speeddemosarchive, I like these, plus the Wayback Machine is so cool), I'll try to do it for the 5.2.52 official release.

Adds support for litterally hundreds of new websites! (Well... Hundreds of places to embed from, at least!)

+ Added support for ALL Kewego-powered sites, including: Kewego (all countries),
  MyKewego, eBay, Lycos, CityVox, LeFigaro, L'Equipe, Metro, M6, Tom's Guide, LeMatin.ch,
  jeuxvideopc.com, Voila and *hundreds* of other sites! Most of them are in French, though.
+ Added support for most Kaltura-powered sites, including Wikipedia (although I couldn't find
  any example). If the video you want to embed doesn't provide embed code, just paste the
  URL to its parent page, and add "#kaltura" (without quotes) next to the URL. Should work!
  Support is only tentative, because I'm not sure whether it is desired by Kaltura itself.
+ Added support for MyTaratata.com (live songs), actually powered by Kewego but
  it uses different URLs so it's going to be separate from Kewego either way.
- Removed Brightcove.tv (site was discontinued on December 2008)

Installed new version and then got this error in the log. Anything to worry about? Do I need to do anything about it? The YT HD embed size is being correctly downsized as desired.

It is just a link to a video player I made before Brightcove ended one aspect of their business. It actually is supposed to not work but all my embeds from them still do. I have moved all the others but this one I will only set up on my own server after it is removed from Brightcove because its a lot of disc space so no reason to do it until I have to.

weightman: I had the same error last time i upgraded (or was it SMG) a few days ago. That was caused because the versions were not correct in the files. Because I didn't remove the old package (just uninstalled it), they were suddently both showing as installed.
Got the same error, but just uninstalled again and removed the old package. Then installed the new one.

Is this perhaps the same issue?

I don't think so. It seems logical to me that this error was caused from the renaming of Subs-Aeva-Custom-Example.php so that the file is then not there upon uninstall.

Not if you could uninstall without errors, I guess. It's an uninstallation error as I see it. To me it had no effect at all, but of course it shouldn't be there.

Sure the right thing to do. I'm pretty sure it was in SMG I had the error, but I saw no effect of it and Dragoon quickly corrected the new package.
However I didn't have time to try the new SMG package.

My mistake, I thought you were talking about an issue with the Example file (for which I provided an example with "unset"), hence the confusion.
Your problem is that you renamed the Example file to Subs-Aeva-Custom.php, which is cool and harmless of course. The error you received is most likely a SMF bug (not Aeva), because from what I see in the source code, SMF always checks whether the file exists before it attempts to remove it, so it's not like I forgot some "error=skip" setting in the xml file.

All in all, I don't think I can do anything about that... I personally would rename the file on my local copy, so that it has both -Custom and -Custom-Example in the remote folder when I upload my finished file.
