Can anyone have a look at smf-media.com and forum.noisen.com and say whichever board they'd like to see the AEVAC board go to? smf-media.com has the "right name" and the right tools, but I only have control over noisen.com and I test my new code on it... Hmm.

At any rate, don't expect me to start work on AEVAC before the next couple of days.

Orstio's bridge for the Mambo CMS. Sorry, that has nothing to do with this topic but that is the primary, by far, reason I am waiting to upgrade to 2.0 along with a couple other mods I use not being updated yet that supposedly will be at some point.

No worries. I don't need any help. Hopefully Orstio will update the SMF-Mambo bridge once SMF2 comes out of beta. If not, I will have to do things differently for now on.

It depends, I guess, on what options you have available about changing php.ini options, what PHP and MySql version you have available.

Support for different kind of options. I don't know if it can influence anything in the embed mod as I don't know the code behind. Perhaps memory limits etc.

In my file of Subs-Aevac.php, Version 4, I have $bbcode in 4 locations:
Lins 1039, 1053, 1063, and 1065.
Nothing at 533.

Nao, really glad you plan to remove some video sites, half of them are ridiculously insignificant. Might be an idea to just visit the websites of all of them and keep the ones with high PR if you have never heard of some of them.

Imeem is one I just got using today via this mod, great website for high quality music so I hope that stays.

Yeah, probably... I had a quick look at the disabled ones (un-embeddable)... They simply sucked... Especially stagehq.com... I removed them without waiting. I guess it would be harder for Karl to do that -- he spent time to research for their URL schemes. One of the good things I'm taking over, I guess? Well, we'll see. Maybe in two weeks, there will be twice as many websites in the list

I don't like relying on PR... But I'll try to think of it. (Forces me to use Firefox or IE to visit them, though...)

The name rings a bell to me... It'll stay, for sure.
Don't forget v4 introduces the ability to choose from the site list. It's important. I can't remove all of them. But I'm thinking, at least, if I add a new site, I'll have to remove one from the list. Sounds fair enough. The list is already 160kb -- it's a complete joke. No even 10% are actual websites with more than a hundred users, I think.

Quality isn't always about quantity. But I have time to think of it. I need to adjust. I'm finished with my first rewrite of the mod -- I mainly cleaned up the code like I usually do on SMG, and I renamed the mod from AEVAC to AEVA. Sounds much better. I'll pronounce it like Wall-E pronounces Eve. "Eeeeeeva...?"

Will embedding of local files be one of the things you will remove from the mod? It doesn't work as it is right now.
