You can easily disable Aeva integration within SMG:

Open MGallery.php, and replace

With

if (!checkEmbedLink($embed_url, true))

This will effectively force the use of Aeva's internal server list, which is probably just as relevant as AEVAC 3.1.2's.

If your URLs posted directly in your board aren't embedded, though, then Aeva isn't working correctly. Just as I mentioned earlier today, if it doesn't embed, it was probably not correctly installed. Check whether Subs.php has the Aeva changes in it.

95% of all YouTube videos are still in 4/3 format so the current embed format is still best for YT... (Wait until I add a feature where Aeva will determine automatically the best format.)

So, I deleted the new one and tried to reinstall the last version, for now. I got the same error. I have never had a test failed for this mod before. What should I do? Wow, and interesting enough, the mod still seems to work totally perfectly when it is completely uninstalled and deleted!

Yeah... That quite gives away the answer, doesn't it?
Double install Delete manually.

Fixed!
That was an actual bug that would prevent sites that are *not* in the SMG site list to embed through Aeva, because of a missing global. Aevac 3 worked because the only way to find it was to check for the actual file to be there (and it was found, obviously).

Will be in the next SMG update.

I will post a quick fix in the official SMF Media Gallery topic.

You know, it's just a matter of opening the xml files (install-both.xml, and the xml file for your own SMF version), browsing through the file names, opening these files and removing anything that's between "Aeva" comments. Just search for "aeva". You can do it in 10 minutes I'd say.
If it still fails after that, then bring on the codes.

Where are those files? I don't see them. I am not familiar with this process. I have uninstalled mods manually of course but I used the package parser. Of course, I don't know what version of aeva/aevac is installed.
