Nao can you give us a little idea of how to add our SMG sites to the aeva sites , I try but I dont know how to get the embed-pattern??

I know of I can use the SMG BBCODE , but the AEVA Style is so cool

because you can put several max-widths according to the container/parent div.

Can you explain in a little more detail? Why would you have "several" when you can just use a percentage as the value making it appropriate for all containers.

Also, I thought max-width didn't work for IE6 and below which is pretty bad!

I have a liitle problem using Simple Portal with the AEVA mod 5.36 and the SMF Media Gallery 1.5.2...
I update both and all works fine until... I try to add a new album... after many test I see some relation conflict between mods.

I test in a Fresh Install 1.1.7 Only with 3 mods installed.

When I go to add a new album I get this error...

Why I get this error?
If I uninstall AEVA 5.1.36 I can add again new albums... but I don't want uninstall AEVA because I love this mod and I use both the gallery and the aeva in my site.

Also If I try to delete an album....  get this error too...

Because my aeva hasn't been working properly. Facebook and ESPN videos that used to work aren't working anymore.

Follow the instructions of the Subs-Aeva-Custom-Example.php file and put this at the end of your Subs-Aeva-Custom.php file (before the "?>", of course):

This is untested, but it should work... Just save, go to Aeva admin, save the site list and it should work.
You can also change the mp3 player's url that way (good luck though, it's harder than simply changing the width!)

@Succubus> This is a SMG issue, not an Aeva issue... Shouldn't this be on the SMG topic? Is your SMF correctly installed anyway? Do you have Safe Mode disabled? (As it should be for best behavior?)
I never tried any Portal software so I wouldn't know if it's related, btw... I don't like the very concept of portals. (Not as long as they're going to be about blocks, blocks and blocks.)

The problem is there are many people who still use IE6 and those people will consider a website to be unprofessional if the videos get cut in half. If you are not bothered then fine... it's only an issue on one of my SSI pages but I can force the videos to be standard format for that page.

Well package 36 to 42 all says version 36. I really didn't add a lot of videos, so I will just reinstall AEVA with the new one.

Only manual change I did was to chang edimensions of Youtube videos.

? Then you didn't install v5.1.42... Since it updates the version number... I think you didn't install rev42 either because it really had the updated version number. Oh, who cares anyway.

I really didn't add a lot of videos, so I will just reinstall AEVA with the new one.

i am really big fan of yours for this mod.. i am just making a local website with smf1.1.7 forum and some custom theme... i love this mod when i tried it. congratulation for this mod. i have 2 questions i hope you can give me any answer.. is it possible that if i will link a video for example to youtube so if it will play in my web but is not clickable i mean if i will put put my mouse over it will not show any hyperlink and the other thing is i know one very best of playing movies and dramas etc site but i think its not possible to link to there videos have a look on this site and tell me your suggestions please. the site is www.ninjavideo.net.. and again thank you very much for your great work...keep it up

Hmm, no the error is still there... clean install (SMF 2.0 Beta 4) of the new package from the official mod site.

So, please everyone who downloaded v5.1.42 until now (12 users): just re-download the package and extract the Subs-Aeva-Admin.php file to your Sources folder. You don't need to reinstall it (unless you're not confident in using FTP and such.)

I think this error (which I never had) should also be fixed with the silent update...

Really, it was all about the fact that in the site list, Aeva attempted to return an array of SMF variables for SMF to deal it, while the only SMF variables are in the settings tab, not in the site list. So it returned a non-existent array (hence, an empty variable, not an array per-se), which caused a few errors afterwards.
Splitting the two settings sections into two different tabs proved to be a lot more complicated than I first hoped for, really. But now it should be working fine, and as a bonus you get to load the settings tab much faster than before. (Which is the first reason why I split the sections in the first place.)
