The Subs-Aeva-Admin.php from the official mod site is stamped today 12:52. It still has the same error in 2.0 beta 4...

Edit: Hmmm, after uninstalling completely and reuploading the newest package, the error finally seems to have gone (SMF2.0 B4)

I still get these errors:

8: Undefined variable: setArray
File: /home/xxxxxx/public_html/smf/Sources/ManageServer.php
Line: 489

8: Uninitialized string offset: 1
File: /home/xxxxxx/public_html/smf/Sources/Subs-Aeva-Admin.php
Line: 567

@mraza> I didn't understand a single word of your request, sorry...

Lolz ... sorry for bad explaination... i have 2 things to ask.

1st. when i will make a link of any youtube video on my site. it will show there and i can play in my web. and if i will click on the video it will take me to the youtube website where the originally video is and will play there. is it possible to get rid of it i mean not clickable links.

2nd. can you make this mod compatible with ninjavideo.net ...

thanks

I also tried to find a widescreen video to test. Don't know if this is one but it is getting squished upon embedding:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd_zkTD64MI#ws&feature=dir

I did add this line to the css but it made no change:

embed { max-width: 600px }

Nao 尚

@weightman> "this video is not available in your country". Also, you had the "&feature=dir" thingie in the URL. It's probably what made your video fail? Although I don't understand what your problem was. Anyway-- I didn't consider the "&" stuff... I've fixed it in the new update (see below as well). HOPEFULLY it should be working without issues. Just make sure your video works fine now.

@akyhne & weightman> I think these are SMF 1.x specific bugs...

Open Subs-Aeva-Admin.php

Go to line 567

Replace with:

if (isset($a['subtext']) && isset($a[1]) && isset($txt[$a[1]]))

Should fix the offset 1 error.

A few lines earlier, replace

saveDBSettings($config_vars);

With

if (!empty($config_vars))
saveDBSettings($config_vars);

Hopefully, it should fix the other bug...

Please confirm :)
I've also reuploaded (again!) the fixed 5.1.42 package, if you don't want to do the edits. Just get the updated files from it.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

I just returned to the forum and now gets this error on all pages:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ''' (ASCII=39) state=1 in /xxx/cache/data_e293056650bb63b4800f4d1861518512-SMF-modSettings.php

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':' in /xxx/cache/data_e293056650bb63b4800f4d1861518512-SMF-modSettings.php on line 1

How do I get my forum back?

check in your package manager if it already exist there remove it and try again..
and Nao i don't know if it was good to do i was not able to install this mod in the begining then i just remove from a file package-info.xml where it says "install for= "and some versions here" & uninstall for="some version here" ...i just removed the version detail and it installed perfectly and working fine on my 1.7.7 version of smf

and Nao did you check my post above please if u can give any answer about that...thanks

I tried that, thanks. Does it matter where I put the install.php....i ran it from my root forum folder? Thanks for the help.

Nao 尚

@Ed> root folder is the place to go, normally. I never tried the manual install for that file though... You're talking about aeva_install.php, right? Not install.php...

@mzara> site requests are to be made on my website. As for your other question, no, it's not possible... The YouTube player is owned by YouTube and they build it as they like. I personally like how it stops the video and redirects to the original page when you click on it. It feels natural to me.

@Everyone else> So... I'm a little lost on all the issues that have been posted/fixed in the last couple of hours... Is everything okay for everyone then? No more problems? No more errors in the log? :) I've been trying to release v5.1.42 ASAP so I could have at least a day off for family stuff this weekend. I'd love to make sure I won't need to work on Aeva tomorrow. I'll go back on it monday, implement some minor improvements, work on improving support for some sites, etc... And will release v5.2.x to reflect all of the changes made in the last version.

With newest fixed version, I still get this error in log, but not the other one:

8: Uninitialized string offset: 1
File: /home/xxxxxx/public_html/smf/Sources/Subs-Aeva-Admin.php
Line: 567

And, removing the "&feature=dir" from the widescreen video link did make it display wide screen and it did in fact respect the max-width I set in the css. Rockin! But, I guess I found a bug then for links from the featured videos section on youtube and maybe other & links...

Great work Nao!

Akyhne

I'm sure everyone can live with a few errors in the log for a few days :)

Take a break tomorrow. You did a huge job.

Nao 尚

@akyhne> you.... you mean you still have the error? :-/

The $a[1] line (which triggered the error) is at line 569 in the newest version. Can you confirm this is also the case for you?

LainaaAnd, removing the "&feature=dir" from the widescreen video link did make it display wide screen and it did in fact respect the max-width I set in the css. Rockin!
Leaving the &feature=dir part also works fine in the fixed version... (latest files are dated from 15:52)

LainaaBut, I guess I found a bug then for links from the featured videos section on youtube and maybe other & links...
That's why I needed to fix it ASAP. The & part is always added when you browse from video to video in YouTube. ie, there's a large chance you'll be posting a link with it... Hopefully it won't break any other site. (This is only for sites that require a lookup.)

No errors in SMF 2. I didn't have time to test your suggestion in 1.1.7

Nao 尚

Uh... I fired up my leftover copy of SMF 1.1.7 and installed 5.1.42 on it...
I'm not getting any error in the log. So that's the good point.
The bad point is, I don't know why, but the lookup feature for YT isn't working... I'm surprised because it doesn't seem to be a problem for other 1.1.7 users. I'll look into it (again).

Nao, this is line 569 from Subs-Aeva-Admin:

if (isset($a['subtext']) && isset($a[1]) && isset($txt[$a[1]]))

The error is triggered upon saving the site list, which we have to do upon install, correct?

Akyhne

The errors occur to me in two quite different 1.1.7 forums on two quite different servers. One in DK and one in the US. Both forums are running Danish UTF-8. Just if it helps you anything.
