@everyone> I uploaded an updated version of the site list. It only has changes in the YouTube code. It fixes a very specific bug: if you have two YT links in a post, the first one being already looked up/parsed (has an # in it) and the second one not being parsed, the second link will never be looked up correctly. It may also fix other bugs anyone might have experienced since the release of v5.1.42, although I don't think so.

Did you regenerate the site list?

The error indeed happens at "&". I would say -- the safest way to include html code inside xml tags is to use the CDATA parsing method. I'm not sure why SMF isn't using it by default...?
You may want to ask over at your other topic. With the code above, maybe someone will have an idea. I don't have time myself right now.

It seems like the lookup function is not working for me. I have a server hosted on godaddy and youtube HQ embed & mp3tube are not embedding. Any help would be appreciated.

Just go through the xml files for the package and figure it out by yourself...?
There are only a few files to edit, and you can find most of the data to remove by searching for "aevac", "auto-embed" or "auto embed" in them.

I'm currently in the process of redoing a lot of stuff in the Subs-Aeva-Sites.php structure...
You might as well want to know what I'm doing, so here's my progress to this point...

- embed-width and embed-height have been dropped, in favor of a shorter version: 'embed-size' => array(400, 300); where 400 is width and 300 is height. This should allow me to set different sizes according to settings, in the feature. e.g. array(400, 300, 450, 300) to switch between 400x300 and 450x300.

- embed-nolink was turned into embed-link (and its meaning was obviously inverted as well). This is more logical to me. Also, if set to false, it doesn't appear at all.

- lookup-enabled was removed, because it's always enabled when lookup-url is present anyway...

- embed-enabled was renamed to enabled. I'm actually contemplating renaming it to "disabled", so that I can simply hide it when it's enabled (the default crap).

- plugin is hidden in generated sites list, if it's set to "flash" (except for local embeds).

This is your chance to tell me what you'd like to see added or removed from the site list. I'm not talking about sites (although I'm all open as well but this is not the right board for this), but settings inside the site list.

PS: Of course, all of these changes will require that you upgrade Aeva if you want to keep being able to download site lists automatically. This shouldn't be an issue though -- I'm not doing any changes to the xml files, so you can simply copy the files from the new package to your Sources folder (and theme language folder).

Money... Yeah i want money! I want a red button in the Aeva Sites list, that when I press it, I get money comming out of my color lazer printer.

It's more easy for me to tell you what I would like of functions, than to decide where they should be enabled - "aeva" or "aeva sites".
It could be nice to be able to edit Youtube dimensions directly in "aeva sites". Maybe for all the popular sites.
I still need the Youtube title above of benieth the video. Did you do that part yet?

That's all I can do to make sure your edits don't get erased when upgrading the mod... No, I didn't do the title part. It's actually unlikely I'm going to do it, now, because the anchor system used to store settings won't allow for so many characters, that apart from base64-encoding the title (which will make its size grow by something like 30%), I don't see how I can do it... Oh well, crap, I just found the solution didn't I? base64 stuff... I hate myself. Why don't I just say no to feature requests?

Ah, yes, found it: "I can't do it, it would force me to add an option in the settings, and I don't want to for now." (lol)

@mark> Believe it or not, but the whole "I'm rewriting the site list structure" idea was because of your request... Ahah. Although in the end it doesn't change anything, I guess. It doesn't make it easier really. But it's an easy implementation. I'll try to do it this week.

It's not bothering me that I have to make a script to change dimensions. I even mean it should be a "per user profile" option... but let's not go there

But a lot of people don't know about scripts, even with description on how to do it. And a lot of people don't have a clue about dimensions; "how much is 800px in width on my screen?". So it would be easier for newbies to change settings. And that's also why I would concider a drop-down for newbies (meaning.. don't remove the custom way we have now) like 640*480, 800*600 etc.

The changes I want and that you don't make, I will make for myself, so it's only suggestions for the masses I give you
