I think this should be merged with the Aeva topic... It can be confusing to still have this thread here, while Aeva 3.x (which had its share of bugs) is no longer available and was replaced with Aeva 5.x.

The original topic split was only because Aevac 4.x was in beta at that time, and Aevac 3.x was still the "official" version around. It is no longer the case.

(Plus, Aeva got thrown out of the popular mod list, I'd at least like to see it come back to the popular topic list, lol.)

I think you are worrying to much, NAO. It's one of the absolutely greatest mods out there. Poeple are probably just waiting for the "final" release.

Hello, i got a problem, i keep getting a fatal error when i try and access the aeva section on the admin.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare modifyaevasettings() (previously declared in /home/foreigna/public_html/forums/Sources/ModSettings.php:360) in /home/foreigna/public_html/forums/Sources/ModSettings.php on line 373

Anyone know how to correct it, cos i can't use Aeva until that is resolved.

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the above statement.
So attachment files cannot be embedded but local files can? What does it mean by 'local files'? Local on the server?

It's not a matter of determining whether Aeva is good or not. It's a matter of visibility. If it's invisible, people won't download it, that's all. Granted, not many people read through the SM.org stats page, but there still are enough to justify it. Aeva+Aevac have a total of about 140 pages together. At least one of the topics should be in the Top 10, that's what I say

Just tested 5.2.48... BBC embeds do not work, instead they just convert to an XML link and that shows as a link, not a video. Existing BBC embeds just show as XML links as well.

Did you enable both sites (bbc news old and bbc news new) in the site list? (They have to be so that older links show up as expected.)

I think I had BBC New disabled and BBC Old enabled and yet the old links did not embed. I just tried to reproduce this trivial bug but couldn't... maybe I imagined it.
