  - reducing the size of countless fix-html patterns, fixing lots of sites in the process,

+ Added aeva_link class to links below videos, in case you want to style them
! Removed magic quotes fix and added a more generic fix for extra addslashes
* Changed noexternalembed test to something in line with other lookup tests
+ Added support for noexternalembed in BBC News (in case your lookup server isn't in the UK)
+ Added support for audio in BBC News, and updated lookups to retain the original URLs
+ Added support for audio in Trilulilu.ro
+ Added support for Scribd.com (online e-books)
+ Added support for Cityvox.fr (French video site)
+ Added support for Wat.tv (another French video site, and we're not done yet!)
+ Added support for Allocine.fr (mainly movie trailers, like Excessif.com)
+ Added support for Culturepub.fr (couldn't get the shows to embed, so I just included
  support for the commercials -- with HD, but autoplay can't be set to false, sucks!)
* Moved a few sites into the Popular section (maybe it was a bit too empty)
* MySpaceTv is now just MySpace, and links were changed accordingly
! Fixed mp3tube.com lookups (they changed their URL format)
- Removed both GoFish.com entries (closed without warning)
- Removed AOL Uncut (they who try to clone YT are doomed to die)
* Added show-link to Google Video, which doesn't link to its vids
* Changed hq-movie system for YouTube videos, to make it easier
  to switch to different movie types for all sites
* Many, many more small changes...

Just so you know -- I uploaded the latest site list to the mod site, and even at 144kb, it came back as truncated. So I removed all comments, as for last time... It came back as truncated -- again. So now I've replaced it with a 2kb empty file which will tell Aeva to keep its current site list. I'll try to find a solution. You can follow the bug report here:

Nao, flawless upgrade from what I can tell! What size are the HD embeds? Does it respect the max-width adjustment in the css?

@Became> I don't have a problem with this video... Does it always say that, even when retrying? You can force the video to embed by removing "noexternalembed" from the link (make sure to keep the # otherwise it'll try to lookup again and it might say "noexternalembed" again...). Are you using the latest version? I made a change to the embedding test in v5.2.50 (using a negative look-behind regex pattern, which is super-geeky and thus plenty cool), it's always been working for me...

The HD embeds are 854x504, just like on YouTube (normally, their own embed code forces them to 640x385). You can force them to show at widescreen HQ (640x385) size by commenting out the example code in the Custom-Example file. Yes, it respects the max-width adjustement, unfortunately IE doesn't seem to give a damn about limiting max-width for Flash objects, the only way you can limit their size under IE is to set width: 640px (or whatever you like), but it will force *all* embeds to that width, which is even sillier... Adding a "real" max-width limitation will be one of my priorities in the upcoming releases.

ok installed but when i go to go to feature and option settings the page does not load it goes to a white 500 internal service error in the forum error log it says that it was "Unable to load the 'Aeva.english' language file" help please

When i click the features and options button just a blank screen comes up saying internal error,after i install it the aeva site lists are still there even though if you click it,it goes to a white page again and i have unistalled Aeva

Oh they completely deserve it, not that it matters to them, but I won't feel guilty about not giving it to such a massive organisation.

What does it cost you? It's not like giving them PR will steal PR from you...

Oops... That's the problem when you have so many files to update eheh. package-info.xml (version number in package manager), changelog.txt, readme.txt (in the title), Subs-Aeva-Admin.php (version number in admin area)...
I uploaded an updated version with the correct package-info.xml file.

I remember fixing already a badly installed mod for you before (Load.php stuff)... If you don't know how to install packages correctly, don't install them!

And I say this on every other freaking page of the topic... If I can't determine what doesn't work, then I can only help if you're willing to give admin access + ftp access... I don't even know what your URL is.

sorry was just a bit steamed up,i install packages fine,well when i install them everything seems to work.Every aeva addon has worked a treat except this one for some reason,you do a great job and ill give you my ftp access and admin access for sure ,sorry again

This has nothing directly to do with YouTube or BBC they just happened to be involved. I actually never said anything about PR, you are the one that brought all that into this conversation. I simply don't want a load of external links on my home page which gives me two choices, disable original links or do rel=nofollow... one of those choices negatively impacts my users and one of them doesn't.

Will having loads of external links have any effect on my ranking? Maybe, maybe not but there is no harm in being safe when it doesn't hurt anyone... and it doesn't in this case.

How would having the media links pointing back to the SOURCE of the media adversely affect YOUR ranking? The link-backs just give another incoming link in the list to the original source.  Honestly, if I were the search engines, I would "ding" people who do exactly what you just did.... and I would recommend against anyone else actually doing that.

It is only polite (and sometimes, it is required) to give the original source an attribution and link-back since you are using their content.
