Nope it doesn't explain it.
#noexternalembed is added automatically by Aeva whenever it can't find the embed code inside the YT page.
My guess is that the base server somehow times out before receiving the whole page or something. Because if it doesn't receive anything in return, it just cancels the lookup. So the transaction somehow completes, but the embed code doesn't appear.

Could you please help me?
I have SMF 1.1.7 with Aeva 5.2.26 installed but Aeva works only when a post is previewed. When it is posted I can see only the url like this one:

What do you use as settings? Did you try to reinstall?

I havn't changed settings. All others still work from Ytube. I'll uninstall. If that don't work. I'll leave uninstalled.

It is only YouTube. But since it works on yours I'll uninstall .25 and install .56

@Polymath> Can you put inside code tags the contents of the post that says "embedding disabled"? There must be something wrong with your url tags...

@rune> Annotations? What's that? You mean the text messages that come up from time to time? You can disable them manually by clicking on the button at the lower right side of the video. The popup menu has an option to disable messages. I'm not sure I can disable this by code, and I probably wouldn't do it anyway -- sometimes they're meant to be there.

First of all: you can force your noexternalembed video to embed by... Removing the noexternalembed mention from the URL. Just make sure to leave the "#", otherwise it will look it up again. (You might want to look it up once again for good measure though. Maybe this time it'll work, eh?)

It works when you quick edit, which means this is not a bug on Aeva's side.
I tried uninstalling the package in your admin area and it says "error" on Load.php.
Can you attach it here?
You have 40 mods installed... No wonder you're having problems. You must be aware that the more mods you install, the likelier it is that one of them will break other mods.

Yes, I'm aware that too many mods can start interfering with each other.

I've made the changes in Load.php manually so I'm not sure that the problem is there.

Attaching a fixed Load.php file... Although I did nothing with Aeva. You installed SMG twice without uninstalling before.

So, you installed manually, eh? Why didn't you start with *that*? Because that was obviously a failed install on your side...
You forgot to update Subs.php or Post.php and that's all.

I suppose I wasn't specific enough - I changed ONLY Load.php manually because the automatic instalation failed to update it. The other files were installed automaticly.

You forgot to update Subs.php or Post.php and that's all.

I've checked and recheked them - everything is there.

Something else happens. If I find what is wrong I'll post it here. Thanks again for trying to help!

Nao, I know you're not my biggest fan, but I've spotted a bug that kicks in when trying to modify a post that exists where it contains single quotes in the Topic.

I had a topic that included an embedded video, I modified it so as to add a single quote to the topic subject, thats when I received an error - Didn't know it was Aeva related until I started to play.

Your call mate, I'm just merely making you aware of a bug...thats all (please just grow up) - its not a problem nor inconvenience to me, just a minor frustration in what is otherwise a great mod.

For the reference of anyone else: If you have a message with an Aeva embed tag in it, modifying the message subject and adding a single quote ' causes the an error on save - to overcome this simply remove the Aeva tag within the body of the message that you are modifying, make your changes, then edit/modify once again and place the tag back in place.
