Moving Hosts

I am in the process of moving my forum to a new host but despite the database info being correct the forum can't connect

How do I fix this any suggestions?

Your forum seems to be working fine. Did you get everything sorted?

In the help files it mentioned creating a database with the same name. So I did but it doesn't say anything about adding a user and I figured since I was importing a db with a user it wouldn't need a user adding. 

This must be why I couldn't get it work cus after many trys and adding a user it worked fine.   

(May seem simple to some but I only do this stuff as a when I need to so very rarely)
