How to color a title topic?

Hello everyone,
i searched a lot for a solution but in the end i'm here to ask to you.
I have the need to highlight more some locked/stricky topics in my board.
The best solution would be to let "color" the tipic title so it would be more visible in the locked/stycky group.

A great thing would be to let use BBC code in the title box like [color= ../]Subject of the post[./color]

Any good ideas?

Well, I took a look at how you'd actually go about doing this.

On allowing BBcode: the problem is that aside from the performance hit it'd generate, there are several places where a topic title shortening routine is performed, and the defaults would actually cause problems with that, so enabling BBcode is far from trivial, as it requires way more changes.

Having a dropdown that let you pick a colour for a topic would be more doable, and could be done fairly easily, I think.

Would you like this moved to Mod Requests? (It's a bit out of the ordinary for a core feature to be honest)

Thanks so much for the quick reply :)

Move the request in the mod section, i will look forward for it

Thanks

So what exactly did you want given my comments?

We need more details in order to be able to do this. Also, where should the colour be displayed? Everywhere that there can be a topic title, or just in the main indexes?
