The Big calendar is below the smaller calendars when it should be to the right. (See attachment)
How can I fix this?

Thanks 8)

Thanks but that put the small boxes on top and off center to the right. I would like them to be to the left of the big calendar. Your file could work if I could center the boxes and make it look neater. Also the calendarpe.gif at the bottom don't show up in your file...I'm going to play around with that file and see if I can clean it up a bit myself. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks nay27uk! :)

Ok, I'm using your Calendar.template file and it looks good except one of the 3 small calendar boxes is missing. (See attachment)

The template is missing the code for the previous month. Should look like this:

<div style="padding: 1px; align: center; float: left; width: 200px;">
', template_show_month_grid('prev'), '
', template_show_month_grid('current'), '
', template_show_month_grid('next'), '
</div>

I use a similar template except with the small ones underneath the large one. That way looks best IMO. I'm not keen on the default arrangement.

Can I get a copy of your template? I would prefer them be at the bottom as well...thanks!

That look better, thanks! But there is still only two small calendar boxes at the bottom. I'm missing the previous July box and the template does have the below code in it: <div style="padding: 1px; align: center; float: left; width: 200px;">
', template_show_month_grid('prev'), '
', template_show_month_grid('current'), '
', template_show_month_grid('next'), '

Well that's weird, because when I run that template in that theme I get all three months. What else have you messed around with?

I have a lot of mods installed but nothing that messed with the calendar as far as I know, unless the PM on Birthday mod did something. But I only have the birthday mod installed on one forum and I have 3 forums running and they all have the same calendar problem for SMF2.0 RC1.2. I think I will install a fresh forum and see what happens. I'll report back here when I've finished the test.

Here is a fresh install with no mods and it only shows 2 months...currently September & October. Where's August? ??? http://www.ganderzone.com/forums/index.php?action=calendar

It shows the current month and the next one - for current and upcoming events.

If you want August, use the << arrow to go back to it.

Shades.

Yes I know that but I want it to show 3 small boxes instead of 2 to fill in that big blank space.

Then you'll have to make the changes as indicated earlier on.

Shades.

I have already made the changes and nothing happened. The code below is in the calendar.template file on both sites.
<div style="padding: 1px; text-align: center;">
<div style="float:left; width: 31%; padding: 1%;">', template_show_month_grid('prev'), '</div>
<div style="float:left; width: 32%; padding:1%;">', template_show_month_grid('current'), '</div>
<div style="float:left; width: 31%; padding:1%;">', template_show_month_grid('next'), '</div>
</div>

I'm attaching the calendar template for you to look at if you will...thanks!

And do you get any errors in the log after viewing that?

No, no errors...it's just not showing all three blocks on any of my three sites or the test site!

As I mentioned earlier in This Post it's only showing current month and the next month. It IS NOT showing the previous month. See the image in That Post. ;) :o

Please post also your file Calendar.php from ./Sources, or, if no mod was supposed to edit it, you can try using a fresh copy of the file from an installation package, and see if it happens with it as well. (keep a copy of your own file just in case).

Did this get resolved?

Do you have any mods that are supposed to have modified that file?

Shades.

No, still not resolved and no there aren't any mods installed that should've messed with that file that I know of. :o

BoZilla, is this issue resolved now? Something modified that template file. I just installed that theme here and the large view is on top while the 3 mini monthly calendars are shown right below it.

Shades.

Well I was having problems before, a few months ago, using SMF2.0 RC1.2...but I'm using SMF2.0 RC2 now and there doesn't seem to be any problems with it now...looks great! Something in RC2 fixed it I guess cause I'm still using the same template that seemed to be corrupt in RC1.2...hmmm! Oh well, it's working great now! Thanks! :)
